Have been listening to, and enjoying, your podcast since episode 1! Looking forward to finally meeting the crew at my first Adepticon in 2017. However, your interpretation of the Cron FAQ regarding RPs is incorrect. First, there is no way that the FAQ infers that 6s for D-Weps, or other remove from play wounds, is suddenly ignored, and Crons can take a RP roll for those. Second, there is no way that the FAQ infers that all Feel No Pain suddenly ignores Instant Death. The reference to FNP was merely in terms of the TIMING of the check. Secondly, the FAQ did not state that the model is not removed from play if it fails, for example, the test for a Helfrost wound. It stated that it may take an RP check BEFORE taking the strength test for the Helfrost effect. So as an example, if a Necron warrior took a wound from a S8/AP1 Helfrost Cannon, it could still take its RP at -1, but even if it passed, would still have to take a Strength test afterwards for the Helfrost effect. Thank you for all you guys do for the hobby. Stay frosty!
